DropEat is a food delivery service operating in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq. It
has three apps: one for customers ordering food, one for delivery drivers, and one
for restaurants. This policy explains exactly what each one collects, why, and what
happens to it.
The short version. We collect what is needed to take an order,
deliver it, and pay the people involved. We do not sell your data, we show no
advertising, and we do not track you across other apps or websites. There is no
analytics or advertising software in any of our apps.
1. What we collect
Everyone with an account
- Name, email address and phone number — to identify your account and to let the restaurant or driver reach you about your order.
- Password — stored only as a one-way hash. Nobody at DropEat can read it.
- A notification token for your device — so we can tell you when your order status changes. It identifies the installation, not you.
Customers (DropEat Kurdistan)
- Delivery addresses you save, with the map point you place for each one.
- Your location, while the app is open — used to find restaurants near you and to place your delivery pin. The app does not collect your location in the background or when it is closed.
- Order history — the items, the restaurant, the price, the address and the times.
- Photos — only a photo you choose yourself for your profile. The app does not read your photo library otherwise.
Drivers (DropEat Driver)
- Documents you upload for approval — identity and driving documents, reviewed by a DropEat administrator before your account is activated.
- Your location while you are online and working — shared with the customer and the restaurant of your current order so they can see the delivery approaching. When you go offline, location sharing stops.
- Earnings records — what each delivery paid, cash held, and settlements.
Restaurants (DropEat Restaurant)
- Restaurant details — name, address, opening hours and the pickup point on the map that drivers are sent to.
- Menu photos you take with the camera or choose from your library.
- Order and payout records.
2. Why we ask each permission

3. Who else sees it
Only the people who need to complete your order, plus two service providers:
- The restaurant you ordered from sees your order, your first name and your phone number.
- The driver assigned to your order sees your delivery address and phone number, until the delivery is complete.
- Google Firebase Cloud Messaging delivers our notifications to your device. It receives the device token and the notification text, nothing else.
- Map providers (Google Maps and OpenStreetMap) serve the map images. They receive the map area being viewed.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with advertisers or
data brokers. We disclose information to authorities only where the law requires it.
4. Where it is kept
Data is stored on servers DropEat controls, hosted in Europe. Connections between
the apps and our servers are encrypted (HTTPS/TLS). Passwords are hashed, and access
to production data is limited to the platform administrator.
5. How long we keep it
- Account details — until you delete your account.
- Location history — deleted with your account.
- Completed order records — kept for 7 years with your name and contact details removed, because accounting law requires the financial record. What remains cannot be traced back to you.
6. Deleting your account
You can delete your account yourself, without contacting anyone:
- In the app: Profile → Settings → Delete account. After one confirmation the account is deleted immediately.
- By email: if you cannot sign in, email
dvrmabast@gmail.com from the address on the
account and ask for deletion. It is carried out within 30 days.
Deleting removes your name, phone number, email, saved addresses, location history
and notifications. It cannot be undone.
7. Children
DropEat is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect
information from them. If you believe a child has created an account, write to us and
we will remove it.
8. Your rights
You can ask for a copy of the data we hold about you, ask for a correction, or ask
for deletion. Write to dvrmabast@gmail.com and
we will answer within 30 days.
9. Changes
If this policy changes we update this page and the date at the top. Significant
changes are announced inside the apps.

- Google Firebase Cloud Messaging ئاگادارکردنەوەکانمان دەگەیەنێت بە مۆبایلەکەت. تەنها تۆکنی ئامێر و دەقی ئاگادارکردنەوە وەردەگرێت، هیچی تر.
